-Treat them with the utmost respect. Never speaking to them with a derogatory tone
-Spend uninterrupted time with each and every child.
-Call them by name
Students gain control when they get a negative reaction from you! We cannot MAKE students do anything. However, Stacker 3 if you join them in their resistance they will comply. By responding in a an unexpected fashion creates bewilderment. This becomes extremely difficult for students to then continue resistance because they become perplexed and baffled. Make them laugh! You must know how to respond! If you are in a sales-oriented position, you will know this. Salesmen want two reactions, yes and yes! They will ask a question whereby the answer will be a positive one.
Teachers and parents are all kids the same? Do they have the same needs? Based on studies not every parent treats their child the same way. Are we not always concerned with objectivity and fairness? We tend to want to treat them fairly, however, we are treating them differently due to their inherent individual personalities. Parents it is of great importance that we begin accepting and enjoying their differences!
