Lots of Web Traffic, Slow Sales? Get Better Sales Copy

Some web-masters may find that even after spending a lot of time and possibly money to build the "perfect" landing page, and then getting that page to rank highly in the search results find that it still doesn't do what they want it to (convert visitor to buyers). It may be great to have everything setup and see the traffic really start rolling in, but if it's not converting what good is it after all? If this sounds familiar, Stacker 3 don't worry because it's quite a common problem that many web-masters face. You may be thinking well that's great many others are in the same boat, but what can I do about it? The answer to this question is often get better copy for your website as it's often the weak point, especially if you've already spent a lot of money to develop a landing page and then more yet to get traffic flowing to that landing page. Let's cover how your websites copy could be improved shall we?

One of the first things you'll probably want to do is sit down with a pad of paper, possibly with a business partner and start going over your product(s) or service(s), develop an outline of what makes them great, and why people would possibly want to purchase them. What makes your product better than the competitions? Coming up with the outline will help you or your copy-writer in the next task, which will be to put these points into some convincing sales copy. Good website copy conveys the strong selling points of your product with confidence, which could add the extra push to your visitors leading them to buy.

However just having beautifully crafted words on your web-page alone won't do the "trick" of making your visitors purchase, it will take more than that. In order to develop a successful sales "funnel", you'll also need to include images (that coincide with your product), customer testimonials (if possible), and any other related content that could possibly persuade your visitors into buying. In order to make your sales letter more attractive to your potential customers you'll also need to do some research to find out who your potential customers are, you should know things like what the demographics of your visitors is. Knowing this information will help you or your copy-writer create content that appeals to them and in this it will better convey your message leading to more sales.

In the end you'll find that it takes everything being perfect in order to convert visitors into customers. You'll need to make sure that you have sales copy that explains your product and how it will benefit them if they purchase it, but just that copy alone won't work in every situation. You'll also need to make sure that it's presented in a manner that is appealing to them, and most importantly you'll need people seeing all of this (traffic) in order to make any sales at all.
