The first thing I can say about the cost for eyebrow tattoos is that it varies greatly, anywhere from $200 to $2,000, mostly depending on who does the work and where you are located. However, after speaking to many women and reading many reviews and comments on ladies who have had the most pleasant results with their permanent eyebrow tattoo, it is safe to say that you get what you pay for.
A clinic where a plastic surgeon or a nurse perform the tattooing is going to cost more than if you have your friendly neighborhood tattoo artist do the job. I have had all my cosmetic tattooing done in clinics. After shopping around, Stacker 3 I paid $400 for a simple eyeliner and $600 for eyebrows. Later I paid $1,500 for a package that included an eyeliner retouch (after 4 years), a lip liner and an eyebrow retouch. In another city I paid $900 for a similar package, but a friend of mine in the US paid 2,400 and was happy.
In Taipei I paid $300 for an eyeliner retouch (after 5 years) and in Hong Kong, $550 but it lasted a very long time and the pigments were rich and haven't faded. It might be worth a trip to Asia to have your next cosmetic tattooing done. By the way, the service in an Asian clinic is amazing. They bring you tea, have special recovery rooms if you want to take a nap in afterward, have personal flat screen TVs where you can watch a movie while getting your tattoo, and childcare facilities for moms who need a tattoo break.
These are some little Eastern touches the west hasn't caught onto yet, but I'm sure they will.
